Mandatory Credit: Nathan Ray Seebeck-Imagn Images England's Charley Hull climbed two spots to a career-high No. 3 in the Rolex Women's World Rankings following her come-from-behind win at the PIF Saudi Ladies International.
Hull, 29, entered last week at a career-best fifth in the world, but vaulted two more spots with her one-shot victory in Riyadh, when she rallied from a three-shot deficit entering the final round. With the win, she leapfrogged No. 4 Minjee Lee and No. 5 Miyu Yamashita in the rankings. Jeeno Thitikul remains No. 1, followed by Nelly Korda at No. 2.
Hull has steadily climbed the rankings since sitting at No. 20 following a T21 at the Women's Scottish Open in July. She followed a pair of runner-up finishes with her third career LPGA Tour title at the Kroger Queen City Championship last September. She has eight consecutive top-20 finishes and has not missed a cut since the Chevron Championship last April.
"It feels great," Hull said after Saturday's win. "I worked really hard this offseason, so it's nice to get a result pretty much straight away and it's one of the bigger events on the LET."
